Dawn has been playing guitar for over 20 years and has worked in just about every playing scenario Los Angeles has thrown at her.

Dawn grew up in Pennsylvania and studied classical guitar and performed around the Southern Chester County Area. In 2001 she made the decision to follow her ambitious quest for music and move to Los Angeles.

It was in the heart of Hollywood that Dawn attended Musicians Institute for Guitar and studied a wide variety of styles under great teachers such as Jennifer Batten, Scott Henderson, Larry Carlton, Russ Furente, and Daniel Gilbert.

Soon after graduating Musicians Institute Dawn began working as a teachers aid and tutored students in music theory and improvisation.

Dawn has performed in various groups such as Mistress of Reality, Red Light District, Xane, Zeithmahl, Cali Mathews and The Bitchfits.

Dawns passion for teaching and songwriting development has brought her great joy in seeing her students achieve their goals as artists over the years.

It is because of her mad love for all things musical she can teach bass, ukulele, piano that help give her students different perspective on being creative.
